Once we got the pictures of the animals out of the way, we continued on the path to the food! They have a lunch buffet, so with Aya translating for us, we paid for the buffet and were seated near one of the windows with that view I mentioned earlier. They had four of five different types of curry, a salad bar, pasta made to order, taco rice, and a dessert bar! Maria brought her son, Connor with her and he kept us entertained all thorugh lunch. Everytime one of the Japanese ladies would walk by, he would sit a little higher in his highchair and do a bit of flirting. Of course with his blond hair and blue eyes, they think he's just adorable (who are we kidding? he reall is!) and they would smile and wave back at him and one even brought him a couple of suckers for being so cute!

The food was delicious and there was so much to try that I couldn't finish it all...especially when Maria kept reminding us to save room for the dessert! After lunch, we walked down to the beach with the intention of just taking a few pictures and heading back. Connor crawled around in the sand making little sea turtle tracks, and then discovered the water. At first he was unsure of what he wanted to do, but soon enough he was waist deep in the ocean following all the Japanese girls around! We couldn't help ourselves...we all tossed our shoes in the sand and dipped our toes in the nice, warm, water. We stayed for around an hour taking pictures and laughing at Connor flirting with everyone.
