I'm a 20 something Marine wife enjoying life in Okinawa, Japan.
I've been married a year now and this is our
first duty station (we're also calling it our three year honeymoon!)
While the husband is off at work, I spend my time baking, scrapbooking, and finding new
craft ideas to try.
I grew up a Marine brat, but never thought I would become
a Marine wife. The past year has shown me just how much my mom
used to deal with while I had no clue. I have yet to experience a deployment, but
we know it will be here soon enough, so I'll be learning a whole lot
more.
I started this blog about a year ago to keep family
and friends updated on our adventures
while we were halfway across the world, but have found
a lot of comfort and laughs in the many milspouse
blogs I have found in my blogging time.
Thanks for stopping by!
